Briefing Competició took part in its third race in the Spanish Speed Championship (CEV) in the Circuit of MotroLand (Aragón) two weeks ago. This circuit has been open since 2010 and has a length of 5,07765m, with a spectacular corner from right to left going down, called the "corkscrew", after the famous corner in the Circuit of Laguna Seca (USA).

In the free training practices on Friday, Alex tried the track for the first time, so he had to learn the layout and get references to do well over the weekend.

On Saturday the qualifying practices were done in two sessions of 50 minutes each, where the heat was felt. In the timed sessiones Alex could classify in the 32nd position with 2:01,4.

On Sunday, under hot weather, the Warm Up started at 9am Alex went to the track with good feelings. These trainings were useful for both the rider and the mechanics to fine tune the motorbike.

At 11am the lights went out, and Alex had a fantastic start, from which we are used to, and he overtook 6 riders!

But on the second lap another rider got on his way and he had to get out of the track, almost crashing with this rider but avoiding falling.

Alex managed to go back to the track and lap after lap he won positions until he crossed the finishing line in a deserved 24th position out of 36 riders. During the race Alex kept an average of 2:00,2 improving 1 second from the timing of Saturday and up to 4 seconds from the free trainings of Friday.

Next event will be in two weeks, in the Circuit of Montmeló )Barcelona). for the 4th race of the Spanish Speed Championship (CEV).

We look forward to seeing you on 23rd and 24th of Junes, for Sant Joan (a typical Spanish celebration) to enjoy the race and the typical delicious "<Cocas" of Sant Joan with us.
